-WHERE-
Jostedalsbreen (Route to be created)
-WHEN-
01/05/2026-28/05/2026
-WHAT-
Im looking for 1-3 people to cross Europe's largest Continental glacier, the Jostedalsbreen in Norway, in spring 2026 or 2027. I would prefer to do it on skis, but snowshoes would also be an Option.
About me: My name is Jonas, 28 years old and I live in Germany. At the moment, I study sports science and biology. Besides my studies, I work as a rehab trainer and in an Outdoor retailer shop.
I'm an open-minded, friendly, sometimes introverted person who likes my me time but also enjoys social time. Besides sports, I'm really interested in fungi and biodiversity.
I have done 3 solo winter trips in Norway, got some Basic/little advanced mountaineering skills and know how to crevasse and avalanche
rescue. And I'm always open for a sufferfest/ Type 2 fun to laugh about later.
Check out my Instagram (jonasfrnk) for more impressions.
About you: you are a friendly and adventurous person with a good working morale and a stable mind in exciting situations. Plus point if you like my dry/dad humour.
I don't care about your gender or your experience, you just need to know how to rescue someone out of a crevasse and be some kind of fit(little beyond averagely fit is enough) and mentally stable.
Aah and please don't be racist - I cant handle racist farts while being in the same tent.
I would prefer a short meetup/hiking trip before, to get to know each other.
