1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By using our website, you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with these terms or any part of these terms, you must not use our website.

2. Definitions

"Website" refers to Find Your Tribe, an unincorporated association. “Member” means anyone who supports the aims of Find Your Tribe by participating and/or designing trips that are then advertised on the website. "Trip Post" refers to any content posted by users regarding planned trips or activities. "Content" refers to any information, text, graphics, or other materials uploaded or posted on the Website.

3. Members

3.1. To use the website you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Update your information promptly if it changes
- Agree to these terms

4. Member Conduct

Members must:
- Understand that the member who has designed the trip post is not a leader or host and accepts no responsibility for those who participate
- Adopt the Leave No Trace principles
- Research the trip activity and make a fair assessment of your own capability to participate. This includes knowledge of the activity and the fitness level required

Members must not:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Share personal information of others without consent
- Use the website for any illegal purposes

5. Trip Posts

5.1. Members who post trips must:
- Make sure the trip design is in line with our Mission Statement
- Provide accurate trip details
- State any costs involved
- Specify required experience and fitness levels
- Maintaining communication with interested participants

5.2 All content posted on the Website and Facebook group must not:
- Contain any material which is defamatory of any person
- Contain any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory
- Promote sexually explicit material
- Promote violence
- Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age
- Infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person
- Be likely to deceive any person
- Be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence
- Promote any illegal activity
- Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person
- Be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person
- Advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse

5.3. The Website:
- Does not organise or lead any trips
- Is not responsible for the conduct of members during trips
- Does not verify the accuracy of trip posts

6. Safety and Liability

6.1. Members acknowledge that:
- Meeting strangers carries inherent risks
- Participating in trips is at their own risk
- The Website is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages

6.2. Safety Recommendations:
- Meet in public places initially
- Verify other members' identities
- Share trip plans with friends or family
- Trust your instincts regarding safety

7. Content Rights

7.1. Members retain ownership of their content but grant the Website a license to use, store, and share it.
7.2. The Website may remove any content that violates these terms.

8. Privacy

8.1. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information.
8.2. Members must respect others' privacy and not share personal information without consent.

9. Termination

9.1 We will determine, at our discretion, whether there has been a breach of these terms and conditions through your use of our site. When a breach has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.
9.2 Failure to comply with this acceptable use policy constitutes a material breach of the terms of use upon which you are permitted to use our site, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:
- Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our site.
- Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you to our site.
- Issue of a warning to you.
- Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach.

- Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.
